Maria Paquette Obituary
Mrs. Maria A. (Freitas) Paquette of Taunton entered into rest on September 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Richard D. Paquette. She was born March 3, 1955 in Taunton, the daughter of the late Antonio and Julia DeFreitas. Maria graduated from Taunton High School, Class of 1973 and has been a resident of Taunton all her life. She had been employed at Texas Instruments for 32 years, retiring in 2005.
In addition to her husband she leaves 2 sisters; Lucy Rebello of E. Taunton and Mary Alice Freitas of Taunton, 3 brothers Tony DeFreitas of California, Joe DeFreitas of Florida and Ted Freitas of Taunton. She was also the sister of the late Jose DeFreitas, Maria Goulet, Joseph N. Freitas, Mario DeFreitas and Mary Paleso of California. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed reading, crocheting and taking vacations with her husband. Maria was a member of the Holy Ghost Society of E.Taunton for many years.
Visiting hours will be held In the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton Ma on Wednesday Sept 12th from 5-8PM. Funeral services will begin in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home on Thursday September 13th at 9AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in the St. Jude the Apostle Church, 249 Whittenton St. at 10AM. Burial will take place in St. Joseph cemetery.
