Mark T. Wordell

Mark Thomas Wordell, 55, of Lakeville, MA passed peacefully on Friday October 13, 2023.

Mark is survived by his parents Raymond and Mary Wordell, his son John Wordell and his sister Nieve Wright, her husband Michael and their daughter Ellie.

Mark was a man of many trades. He graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy with an engineering degree. He had a passion for music, spending many days rocking out, causing the walls to shake at times. He was a people person who had the knack of telling a good story, some of them may have included a few exaggerations. Mark loved to share his good fortune with others. If he had it, he would give it. He enjoyed socializing, fishing and watching sports and movies; but most of all Mark loved his friends and family. 

There will be a private ceremony for the family at Thomastown Cemetery.

To honor Mark’s memory we will be holding a Celebration of Life at his sister’s home in Lakeville on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 at 12:30. We invite anyone who knew Mark to attend and share a favorite memory.
