Mary K. (Sweeney) Anger

Mrs. Mary K. Anger, age 72, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at home, surrounded by her loving husband, William H. Anger Jr.

Mary was born on March 6, 1951 in Providence, Rhode Island the late John and Dianna (Tulaba) Sweeney.  Mary was a graduate of Bayview Academy, and an high honors graduate of Stonehill College in 1973. She earned her RI teaching certificate K-12 History and Social Studies through RIC, and Special Education certification through classes at UNH. Her latest academic endeavor was in progress, a Masters in Counseling through Providence College, She never was able to finish that program. Mary also volunteered her time at the Adult Learning Center in Woonsocket, RI . Mary enjoyed reading, and was an outstanding mother to our two boys and dog, Atticus. As much as she loved teaching, being a mother was her happiest and proudest achievement.

In addition to her beloved husband William, Mary is survived by her two sons, Nerijius and Andrius Anger.

Special appreciation to compassionate care hospice (Lisa RN and April CNA, who were here practically daily), the Taunton Fire Dept. Taunton FD EMS, and Brewster Ambulance. All were compassionate and helpful and caring in every way. 

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at St. Joseph Cemetery, 475 E. Britannia St. Taunton, MA at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
