Mary M. (Murphy) Chisholm

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary M. Chisholm on March 12, 2025, at the age of 81. Mary was born on December 3,1943, in Boston, MA, to John and Mary E. (Stearns) Murphy.

Mary was married to Raymond J. Chisholm for 57 years. Mary was known for her faith, amazing sense of humor, strong will, unwavering determination, and love and support for her family and community. Mary attended the Blessed Sacrament School in Jamaica Plain, MA where she cultivated lifelong friendships. She was a devout attendee of Christ Community Church in Taunton, MA.

Mary worked in the contracting department for Dunkin Donuts Corporate in Randolph/Canton, MA for 30 years before retiring in 2012 to spend time with family here in Massachusetts and her second home in Florida. Preceded in joining the Lord: Mother & Father, John & Mary Murphy and her husband, Raymond J. Chisholm.

Survived by sons John (JJ) Chisholm of Charlestown, MA; Ray (RJ) Chisholm and Erica Zitta of Taunton, MA; daughters Loree Anderson-Iarocci and her husband Michael Iarocci of Plymouth, MA and Dawn Marie Chisholm and Danny Dwyer of Avon, MA. 10 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

All services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Christ Community Church, NORTH, 265 West Britannia Street, Taunton, MA 02780. Beginning with visitation from 10:00-11:00am, Celebration from 11:00am-12:00pm and a reception to follow from 12:00pm-1:00pm. Mary's final resting place will be at the National Cemetery in Bourne, MA on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 2:30 pm. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
