Maryellen Weeks

Maryellen Weeks, of Taunton passed away peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of those who cherished her.

Maryellen was born on April 4, 1954, to the late Virginia Loretta Weeks and the late Forest Weeks. She was a woman who found joy in the simple things in life—taking walks, visiting the park with her grandchildren, enjoying city traditions, and, most of all, spending precious time with her loving family.

Maryellen’s greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Justine Bates (Weeks); her two cherished grandchildren, Monique and Sabrina Mendes; four beautiful great-granddaughters; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by her parents and by her beloved siblings, Loretta Knight, Denise Phillips, Mornajean Paquette, and Ross Weeks.

Maryellen will be remembered for the love she gave, the memories she created, and the special place she held in the hearts of her family and friends. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her love and memory will live on through her daughter, grandchildren, great-granddaughters, nieces, nephews, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Rest peacefully, Maryellen. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
