Maureen A. (Major) Schlesinger, age 58, of Taunton, passed away at home on Friday, May 9, 2025.
Born in Raynham on October 4, 1966, to Kathleen (Tierney) and Robert Major, Maureen attended Bridgewater and Raynham schools. Her love for nature brought her many joyful moments, especially camping at Myles Standish State Forest. However, what Maureen cherished most was spending precious time with her family.
She is survived by her partner, Angelo Salerno; her son Aaron Schlesinger and his wife Michelle; her adored grandchildren, Julian and Peyton; and her siblings Marlene and Mark Major, along with many other cherished family members including Stephen, Christopher, David, Kerri, and her son Johnny. Maureen was also the mother of the late Adam Schlesinger.
Her dedication to her family and the love she shared with them remains a lasting legacy, cherished by all who knew her.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St., Taunton, from 10:00AM-11:30AM, immediately following will be a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:30AM. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
