Maxine Marie Ryan joined the angels of heaven, unexpectedly departing from Morton Hospital on September 7, 2022. She was born January 20, 1950 to the loving joy of the late Clara and William Ryan.
Maxine is survived by, her daughter Tracy Ventresca, son Stephen Ventresca and his other half Lisa Kidd. Also survived by her four grandchildren whom she adored: Vincent Ventresca, Andrew Ryan, Austin Smith, and Lucas Ventresca. In addition to her children and grandchildren, she also leaves behind her brothers Alfred Ryan, Michael Ryan, and sister Charlene Derrickson. Maxine joins her sister the late Jo-Ann Finch and brother the late William Ryan in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Maxine filled many important positions at the Veterans Affairs (V.A.) hospital in Brockton and was always so proud of her work. Her final position at the V.A. was as a program director before enjoying the benefits of her hard work in retirement! Maxine always had a way with words and enjoyed writing beautiful poems and stories. When she was not writing, you could find her watching her favorite T.V. shows, such as Cobra Kai or a Patriots game with the family or reading books by her favorite author, Dean Koontz. She always enjoyed being with her family and taking pictures to preserve every moment. Family meant everything to Maxine and she means everything to her family. While her physical presence has left us, the love and memories we all share with her will live forever in our hearts. Gone, but never forgotten.
