Michael John Demers

Michael J. Demers, age 60, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital.

Born in Taunton on December 22, 1963, to the late Michael and Betty Lou (Wilkinson) Demers. For anyone who knew Michael, knew he loved people, he was friends with everyone. He would do anything for anyone and always had a smile on his face. Michael loved to joke around and was always in a good mood, no matter the situation. He was the person you could count on, to make you laugh or just brighten your day with his contagious smile. Michael loved the city, where he resided in Boston for quite some time of his life, he enjoyed walks, ice cream, and going to the beach.  

Survived by his daughter Tamika Perry, his son Michael Hargrove, brother Joey Demers, sister Jamie Alphonse, 1 granddaughter, 2 grandsons and 1 great-grandson, along with uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Michael was also the brother of the late Debbie Demers and uncle to his late nephew (Scottie).

Visitation hours will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton, MA from 5:00-7:00pm. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
