Michael Lagace Obituary

Michael David Lagace passed away suddenly but peacefully at his home on Friday, December 22, 2023.

He was a longtime resident of Taunton and Raynham Mass. Michael was a U.S. Marine, a graduate of Bridgewater State University, a lifetime member of the Taunton Yacht Club, an exonerated Elk, Lodge 1860 Bristol, Rhode Island, and a member of the U.S. Power Squadron to name a few. He loved the ocean and the mysteries she held, outdoor activities, and learning history. He was very ingenious and could fix anything. If he couldn’t, he would create an item to fix and solve the problem. Throughout his career, he had been published in articles and newsletters often, he was very well respected and admired in his profession. He had recently retired in the past few months looking forward to new adventures and free time. Michael was a good friend, loving son and a great nephew, he loved animals, always taking in a stray that would stop by. His deep chuckle and quick wit will be sorely missed by everyone that knew him.

Michael is predeceased by his late mother Barbara (Pigeon) Lagace. He is survived by his longtime girlfriend Stace LaBrecque and their cat Jettson, his father Gerald Lagace, sister Becky Pacheco, his nephew Mike Pacheco, great nephew Joey Pacheco, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and their children.
