Mornajean (Weeks) Paquette

Mornajean (Weeks) Paquette, age 73, of Taunton, Ma left this world on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Marion Manor after a long battle to liver failure .

Mornajean was born in Taunton, Ma and resided there most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Forest Stanley &  Virginia Loretta (Pierce) Weeks. Mornajean loved crafting, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She had such a creative  imaginative mind she could just look at something and make something out of it. She loved to cook and bake, especially for her grandchildren's home cooked meals, they were her thing . She would spend endless hours with her grandchildren and family. The one true thing if anyone knew her, they knew how much she adored  butterflies, everytime you would see her there was something around her with butterflies.

Mornajean loved to sing along to her favorite oldies band The Beatles ( Can't Buy Me Love ) who would know the whole time she was teaching us kids the true meaning of life. She was such a kind hearted, loving, generous person that was always eager to help someone in need, she valued her family the most; they were her life line. Whenever her family would visit her she would greet them with a smile that would light up the whole room. Walking in the fall in the autumn breeze watching the trees change was so fascinating for her. She will be truly missed once a daughter, mother, friend and now an angel.

Mornajean was preceded in death by her sisters Loretta Ann Knight, Denise Marie Phillis and a brother Ross Michael Weeks .

Survived by her sister Maryellen Weeks, her 2 beloved children Deanna (Paquette) Eley and husband Nicholas Eley all of Taunton,Ma , a son Joseph Paquette of Plainville Ma, 3 grandchildren Richard  Faria, Jovanni Garriga and Jakobe Eley from Taunton, Ma, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
