She is survived by a large family, including her loving husband, Lawrence Glaser of Taunton, MA, and her 6 children, who were her pride and joy: Elizabeth Gay, Kathleen Harvey, Jennifer Saunders (and her husband, Errol), Gretchie Robinson (and her husband, Scott), Rebecca Hern (and her fiancé, Eric Piccione), and Daniel Harvey (and his wife, Anjuli). She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren: Theresa Sinclair (and her husband Andrew), Jessica Patrick (and her husband Sean), James Gay (and his partner Bonnie); Nicholas Lord (and his wife Gia), Brandon Lord (and his wife Victoria), and Sam Robinson; Anthony Hern (“Dynamic Duo”); and Jayashri and Prahlad Harvey. She is survived by her two stepsons, Michael Glaser (and his wife, Alyssa, and their children, Gracie and Lucy) and Matthew Glaser (and his wife, Erica, and their children Zoey, Logan, and Izzy). She is survived by family member Rick Hern of Stoughton, MA. She is also survived by her younger brothers, Peter, Henry, and Harry Messier.

“Polly” was born to the late Henry and Norma Messier in July of 1942, in Brockton, MA. She spent her early childhood years living in Duxbury, MA, having then moved to North Easton, MA, at the age of 10. She was a student in the Easton school system, where she was eventually voted Class Secretary during her freshman year at Oliver Ames High School. It was also there that she met and later married her late ex-husband, Cornelius Harvey, the father of their 6 children. While her children were growing up, she resided in North Easton, and moved to various locations in Massachusetts throughout her later years until she eventually settled in Taunton, MA, where she spent her final years with her husband, Lawrence Glaser.

Paulette was a strong and disciplined woman, as well as very affectionate and warm. During her mid years and into the autumn of her life, Paulette ran her own business as a house cleaner, sometimes cleaning as many as 4 to 5 houses a day by herself. She lovingly dedicated her life to all her family, having pushed through hardships and adversity to provide for them, doing so for many years as a single mother. Paulette is remembered by those around her as always being willing to do anything for those she loved. Hours could be spent listening to her storytelling of past events interspersed with both tears and her infectious laughter. She dearly loved flowers and had spent time gardening during periods of her life. She enjoyed antiques and decorating, and created many memories with her daughters and granddaughters, taking trips to antique stores in New Hampshire. Her husband dearly remembers waiting outside in the car as she would relish shopping in Marshalls and T.J. Maxx for long periods of time. Paulette had a wonderful knack for interior decorating and especially loved collecting and displaying family photos. Duxbury Beach was always a place she felt at home. When her children were young she enjoyed taking them to Shipyard Lane in Duxbury, where she would sit on the beach and happily watch her children play. In the last years of her life, she would often take day trips there with her husband, Larry. During quiet times in the evening, Larry and Paulette would watch the Celtics together.

She will be loved and missed forever. You are always in our hearts, Mom, and we “will always find you!”
