Peter M. Sferruzza

Peter Michael Sferruzza of Carver, passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2025, at the age of 58. Peter was born March 17, 1967, in Boston to his mother Joann Sferruzza. 

Peter grew up in Carver where he spent his days on Crystal Lake with his closest friends as well as his future bride. Crystal Lake was the birth of many of his lifelong friendships that he cherished until the very end. In his adult years, he was a member of the championship Carver Indians Men’s Softball team. He was an avid sports fan as well as a poker connoisseur. Peter worked for Pepsico in Cranston Rhode Island for 20+ years where he met his dear friend Michael Campbell of Rhode Island. He also worked at Decas Cranberries and Georgio’s House of Pizza in Carver, MA.

Peter was a family man at heart. His wife and girls were the center of his world. He could often be heard bragging about them to anyone who would listen. Peter will be remembered for his quick wit as well as his sense of humor. He was the first to crack a joke that would fill the entire room with laughter. Peter was a fierce friend, a loving husband, and a beloved father. His loss will undoubtedly be felt by many. A testament to the many lives he touched throughout his 58 memory-filled years. 

He is survived by his wife and childhood sweetheart Christine (Francis) Sferruzza as well as cherished twin girls, Alecia Marie and Taylor Ann Sferruzza. Peter is also survived by his mother Joann Sferruzza, his late grandparents Paul and Irene Sferruzza, his uncle Joseph, and the late Paul Sferruzza Jr. He was also the loving son-in-law of Peggy Francis and the late Jack Francis. 

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation to Celebrate Peter on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
