Mr. Raymond B. Harnois, age 99 of Taunton, passed away at the All American Assisted Living in Raynham on Monday January 1st, 2024. He was the husband of the late Rosemarie (Devincentis) Harnois. Raymond was born in Taunton on February 13th, 1924 to the late Ora (Bernard) and Joseph Harnois. He was raised and educated in Taunton and was a lifelong city resident. Raymond was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served his country during WWII. He was self-employed as a TV repair man in Taunton for many years. He was a member of the Westport Yacht Club and a Life Member of the Taunton Elks.
Raymond loved boating and was an avid boater for over 70 years. He was known as a man w/ many hobbies and handy with just about anything.
Raymond was the loving father of Joyce Parent and husband Jeffrey of Taunton, Cheryl Johnson and husband Rodney of E. Taunton, Denise McGrail and husband Michael of Sarasota FL, and David Harnois and wife Gloria of Taunton. He was also the grandfather of Erica Harnois.
Visitation will be held on Friday January 5th from 3:00pm -4:30pm in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral home, 467 Bay St. Taunton Ma. A Prayer Service will follow in the funeral home at 4:30pm.
