Rita M. (Bouchard) Dennen

Mrs. Rita M. (Bouchard) Dennen, Age 85 of Taunton, Passed away on Thursday, August 24th 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold J. Dennen. Rita was born in Taunton on July 9th 1938 to the late Beatrice (Gilbert) and Joseph Bouchard. Prior to her retirement, Rita worked as a switchboard operator at Morton Hospital for over 20 years. Prior to that she was employed at Reed and Barton Silversmiths.

Rita will always be remembered for her gentle spirit and kind heart. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished the special memories made with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Michael Dennen and his wife Denise of Cranston RI, Debra Dennen and husband Bob Chamberlain of Hollis NH, Dorothy Malm and her husband Wayne of Groton, NH, and Donna Couto and her husband Lou of E. Taunton.  She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Visiting hours will be on Wednesday August 30th from 4-7 PM in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton MA.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 31st  at 10 AM in the St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 249 Whittenton St., Taunton Ma. Funeral proceedings will start at 9 AM in the funeral home. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
