Robert "Bobby" Phipps

Robert “Bobby” Phipps, 49, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was the loving husband of Rhonda L. (LaCombe) Phipps.

Born on August 18, 1974 to Esther M. (Bourget) Phipps and the late Robert T. Phipps. Bobby was a lifelong resident of Taunton and a graduate of Taunton High School. He enjoyed playing guitar, video games, working out, playing basketball and was also a history buff.

In addition to his beloved wife Rhonda, Bobby is survived by his mother Esther M. Phipps, sister Jessica Killion and husband Kevin of Lakeville, MA, his best friend (dog) Jax and cousin Thomas Pierce, who was like a brother to him, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton, MA from 4:00-7:00pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 11:00am in the Funeral Home, followed by a burial at Mayflower Hill Cemetery, 235 Broadway Taunton, MA. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
