Obituary
Mr. Robert J. Broomhead Sr. passed away unexpectedly on Sunday January 29,2023. Robert was born on August 16,1955 to the late Raymond Broomhead and Lillian Howard. He was the husband of the late Karen (Dunlop) Broomhead, Robert was born and raised in Taunton.
Prior to his retirement, he dedicated over 40 years working at the Raynham Dog Track. He also worked at the Raynham Lifecare Center for many years. Robert enjoyed going for long peaceful rides and taking his time to clean his car. He loved his families dogs and family, especially his grandchildren. Robert will be greatly missed.
Robert leaves behind his loving companion Mary Viera of Raynham. He was the beloved father of Robert J. Broomhead Jr. and his wife Mellisa of Taunton and Tony Broomhead of Lakeville. Robert was the brother of Raymond and Donald Broomhead, Cora Bouget, Nancy Payn and Joyce Chickern. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Shantael, Evelynn, Victoria and Susan and his great granddaughter Leyla.
Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 4:00-6:00pm in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton Ma 02780. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.For directions or to leave an online condolence, please visit www.r-mfh.com
