Robert F. Cerrato

Robert F. Cerrato, age 72, passed away at home in Taunton, on Saturday, January 4, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband and partner to Rosemarie (Feirick) Cerrato of 40 years.

Born in Boston on April 28, 1952, to Josephine (Micelotta) and Albert Cerrato. Robert worked hard his whole life starting as a teenager at Shaw’s (BPM) for 20 years, he opened Plimoth Produce at Cordage Park where he met his beloved wife, Rosemarie. He also worked as a contractor and a carpet installer and then as an entrepreneur owning and operating Anthony’s Italian Pastry Shop in Sandwich, MA. Robert retired from JetBlue Airways, enjoying the travel benefits. He loved his large extended Italian family and planning family reunions, even traveling over to Italy to meet some of them.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his children; Anthony Cerrato, Kimberly (Cerrato) Whalen, Catherine (Cerrato) Grey and David Cerrato, his siblings; Anne Criss, William Cerrato and Albert Cerrato along with his six grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held on January 18, 2025 at 11:30 am, at St. Anthony’s Church, 126 School St. Taunton, MA. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
