Robert "Bob" Kircher, age 78, of Taunton MA, passed away peacefully at his home on January 26th, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Judith Haddad.
Born in Mt Holly, NJ, he was the son of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Dischert) Kircher. He graduated from Rancocas Valley Regional High School before joining the Navy Reserve in 1964. After serving on active duty he married Linda Doran and together they had two children, Robert and Jason.
After the Navy, Bob went to work for Tyco in the toy industry and then over to Honeywell as a computer engineer. Bob enjoyed building computers in the early days of the personal computer. Before the internet he ran 2 bulletin board systems (Danger Zone and The Round Table). He loved modeling, aviation, racing, coin collecting and watching the Philadelphia Phillies. Bob volunteered for the Cub Scouts and of the Rhode Island Aeromodellers Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Rob Kircher and his sister Shirley Meyer.
