Ryan J. Donovan

Ryan J. Donovan age 34 of Taunton and formerly of Berkley passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 15, 2023.

Born in Boston on June 29, 1989, he was the beloved son of John Donovan and partner Sharon Maxfield of Taunton and Kristine Donovan of Wareham.

Ryan was a 2007 graduate of Somerset High School and joined the US Navy soon after graduation. Ryan was stationed in both Pax River in Maryland and Dam Neck in Virginia earning him rank of Special Warfare Intelligence Specialist. In his spare time Ryan enjoyed making beats, researching anything and everything, numerology and spending time at Uppie’s house which he always called his safe space.

In addition to his parents Ryan is survived by his brother Michael Donovan and fiancé’ Alisha Beaulieu, niece Andrea Donovan and nephew James Donovan all of East Taunton. Grandson of Loretta Owens of Randolph, William Donovan of Norwood and the late Joan Ross. Nephew of Tammy Benson and fiancé Amir Bourkiche of Randolph, Donald Owens and wife Michelle of Kingston, William Donovan and wife Linda of Medfield, Christopher Donovan and wife Catherine of South Dennis, Janet Norton and husbandDoug of Norton and many cousins. Ryan was preceded in death by his cousin Mark Benson.

Visitation will be held on Sunday October 22, 2023 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton, MA. All friends and family are respectfully invited to attend.

Burial will be private.
