Shawn J. Masse

Shawn J. Masse, 35, passed away on Thursday August 3, 2023 in Rhode Island. Born in Woonsocket, RI on March 13, 1988 to Michael and Theresa (Boudreau) Masse.

Shawn lived for adrenaline, good times, his family and friends. He enjoyed challenging himself, even taught himself to take a car apart and put it back together, which he did several times just for fun. He would work from dawn to dusk to provide a good life for his son Shawn. He always took pride in his accomplishments and wanted to do better. Shawn was looking for someone who would love him as much as he would love them. He was selfless and would do practically anything for the people he cared about, from giving someone a ride, to helping on a mechanical project or simply stopping by to drop off a gatorade, when a friend was feeling under the weather, he was always there. Shawn will always be remembered for his big heart and contagious laugh and would be proud to give the gift of life to others.

Shawn is survived by his son Shawn Masse, his child's mother, his mother Theresa Masse and stepfather James Caya, his father Michael Masse Sr. and stepmother Denise Gill, his brothers Michael Masse Jr. and his companion Jackie Hebert, Raymond Masse and Brandon Caya and his wife Holley Caya, his stepsister Amy Gill and her companion Samuel Ankrah, stepbrother Robert Gill and his fiancé Shannon Keeping and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held on August 24, 2023 at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery 310 Wrentham Road, Bellingham, MA at 11:00am. All friends and family are respectfully invited to attend.
