Stephen H. Burt

Stephen Burt of Taunton passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on March 29, 2022.  He was the loving husband of Ruth A. Burt (Semas).  Born on Martha’s Vineyard to the late Norman and Jane Burt (Downs) on March 25, 1950, Stephen was 72 years old.

Stephen was an Electrician by trade and was last employed at the Taunton Housing Authority as a Store Keeper.  He loved going fishing and target shooting. 

Aside from his wife Ruth, Stephen leaves behind his brother Jeffrey and his wife Antoinette (Toni) Burt, daughter; April Dawson; son, Adam Burt; stepdaughter, Kimberly Morin; stepson, Scott Morin and five grandchildren; Kaylee Williams, Casey Roberts, Asia Dorney, Adam Burt, Jr. and Kye Dawson.

Stephen was always smiling and will be sorely missed by everyone whose life he touched. Services will be held on a later date but will be private.
