Steven Alan Gerard Henricks left us peacefully in his sleep on July 2, 2021. He was 62 years old. Born in Taunton, on November 23, 1958, he was the son of Alfred Alan Henricks and Alyce Jane Ouellette Henricks.
He leaves behind his life partner, Pamela DeCastro of 40 years and their beloved daughter Hannah Leigh Braga. Together with her husband Dennis Braga III, they have two children, Steven’s grandchildren—Dennis Robert IV and Delaney Helen.
He also leaves behind his sisters Carol Cole, Gail Scott Michael, and Lisa Kingsbury; his nieces and nephews—Sean Kingsbury, Bryan Kingsbury, Lori Ann Richmond, Troy Scott, and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews of the DeCastro family.
Steven left best friends behind, too many to mention. But two of his greatest friends and supporters were Glenn Kingbury and his son-in-law Dennis. Dennis was his friend and confidant who he was always so grateful to, for always cherishing his daughter. He also loved their dog Kal. Family meant a lot to Steven and was the center of his life; he loved them all fiercely.
An avid nature and music lover, Steven lived his life his own way with no regrets, and he wants us to remember him for all the goodness he was and the beauty of life that he so savored and left behind.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, July 22 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at American Legion Post 405, 291 Mill St, Raynham, MA 02767. Please bring your love. Arrangements entrusted to Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, MA 02780.
