Susan M. Cayer

Susan M. Cayer, age 73, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 10, 2024 on Cape Cod.

Susan loved family, friends, chocolate ice cream, root beer, the oldies, birthdays, cookouts and every holiday – and she ensured that everyone knew what holiday was next and that there would most certainly be a party with ice cream to celebrate.
Born in Fall River to the late Rose (Berube) and Edmund Cayer, she is survived by her brother Paul and sister-in-law Marguerite Cayer, her sister Elise Bernstein, her sister Madeleine and brother-in-law Greg Niland, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Susan was a longtime resident of Side B at Sandalwood in Cotuit and is survived by her friends and housemates Judy, Kelsey, and Benjamin and all the wonderful staff who cared for her over the years, including Chrisla, Carmen, Nick, Randi, Ashley, Angela, Zach, David and too many others to name.

Arrangements are private, although a big cookout will definitely be part of them.
