Thomas D. Lincoln, age 83, passed away after a lengthy illness, on Saturday, June 1,2024. He was the loving husband of the late Celestina (Martin) Lincoln.
Born in Taunton on September 30, 1940, to the late Rosianne Guillemette and Stillman Lincoln.
Tom had many accomplishments in his life. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, in Scottish Rite of Boston, and was also a lifelong member of the Mayflower Masonic Lodge in Middleboro MA. Tom was a proud and lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and Easton Rod & Gun Club.
Tom served 8 years in the Army, and looked upon his time of service fondly. Professionally he worked in the Massachusetts Department of Corrections, retiring as a Captain. Tom was also a proud member of the SWAT Team for several years, becoming an instructor for Tactical Training. He had a long career with the Department of Corrections, where he made many lifelong friendships. He had many interests, including carpentry, hunting trap & target shooting, and archery. With the help of family and friends, he built his lifelong home he shared with his wife Celeste.
Tom shared his interest with several lifelong friends and family members, taking hunting trips, hanging out at the Gun Club, helping friends and family with carpentry projects, and home improvement projects as well.
Survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Tom was also the brother of the late Stillman Lincoln Jr.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday June 4, 2024, from 8:00am-9:30am in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton, Ma. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00am in St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 249 Whittenton St. Taunton, Ma. A Christian burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 475 E. Britannia St. Taunton, Ma. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
