Zachary "Zack" R. Leavitt

On behalf of the Leavitt family, we are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Zachary Leavitt, age 29 of Taunton, Massachusetts, and previously of Charlestown Massachusetts.

Zack was an avid believer of living life in the most fun and creative ways possible. He wore many hats throughout his life. He was a devoted son, a caring, brother, a dog dad, uncle wacky to his beloved nephew, and a cornhole champion (at least some of the times). When Zack was not spending time with family around the fire pit or the cornhole boards, he could be found at Boston sports games with friends and other valued members of his circle. Although he left us too soon, Zack will have a lasting impact on our community and will embody being a townie for life.

Zack is survived by his mother, Megan Leavitt and his father Jad Leavitt. He was the brother of Nick Leavitt and his wife Rachel, Jacob Leavitt and his fiancé Taylor Scagel, and Christian Leavitt. He is also survived by his grandmother, Nancy Leavitt, his aunt and Uncle, Maggie Mae and Cory Slack, as well as his nephew Landon Thomas. Zack was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Marilyn Doherty, who we know is waiting in heaven with open arms.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, April 27th, 2026, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, MA 02780.  A prayer service will follow in the funeral home at 6:45pm.
