Armand Correia Jr.

Armand Correia Jr., age 79 of Taunton, passed away on June 15, 2022.  Born March 14, 1943 to the late Armand and Phoebe (Fratus) Correia, Armand was the beloved husband of Cherie (Bourget) Correia.

A lifelong resident of Taunton, Armand made his career as a Polisher for the Sheffield Silver Company of Norton.  He was a member of St. Nicholas of Myra Roman Catholic Church in No. Dighton and a former member of the Taunton Eagles Club.  Armand’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He enjoyed gardening and music.

Aside from his wife, Armand is survived by his three sons; Todd A. Correia (Jessica) of Taunton, Robert F. Correia (Elaine) of Rockland, Manny A. Correia (Jesse) of Taunton, brother; Anthony Correia, also of Taunton, Five sisters; Amelia Desrosiers (Raymond) of Fall River, Rosalina Bostock (Russell) of Taunton, Virginia Remy (Donald) of Taunton, Barbara Correia of Taunton and Mary Ferreira of E. Taunton.  Additionally, Armand leaves behind his cherished grandchildren; Michel A., Savion M., and Rocco A. Correia and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by three late brothers; George, John and Joseph Correia and sisters; Ida and Madeline Silvia, and grandson; Francis A Correia.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20th, 2022 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM at the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, MA 02780.
