Donald R. Williams Sr.

Donald R. Williams Sr., age 87 of Taunton, passed away on September 12, 2022 at Morton Hospital.  He was the loving husband of Maureen T. (Marrotte) Williams for 64 years.

Donald was born on October 5, 1934  to the late Leonard and Grace (Brazil) Williams.  He was raised and educated in Auburn M.E and graduated from Edward Little High School. Donald joined the United States Airforce in 1953 and proudly served his country during the Korean war era.  Prior to his retirement, Donald worked as a Campus Police Officer at Bridgewater State Teachers College. 

In his spare time, Donald enjoyed watching T.V, especially if it was a Boston sports team.

In addition to his wife loving wife, Maureen, Donald is survived by his daughters; Cheryl Burns of Taunton and Gail Rezendes and her husband Anthony of Norton, his sons; Donald Williams, Jr. of Taunton and Leonard Williams and his wife Melissa of Taunton.  Donald also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren; Matthew, Nicholas, Morgan, Andrew, Jonathan, Casey, Lillianne and Addison; and his great grandchildren; Connor and Patrick.

Visiting hours will be held in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton Ma on Monday September 19th from 4-7p.m.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial with Military Honors will be Private.
